Virgin Coconut Oil is the only oil you should use as a carrier oil for massage oils. Virgin Coconut Oil is the healthiest oil one can use on the skin, because of its antioxidant properties. It prevents free radical damage to the skin unlike vegetable oils. For further anti-oxidant activity, Natural Palm oil is rich in natural Vitamin E and Vitamin A. To keep our massage oils liquid, we add organic jojoba oil. Jojoba oil is liquid at room temperature, and is well-known for its skin conditioning qualities. Because it has a long shelf life, it is the only oil we mix with our tropical oils. Tropical Traditions massage oils have been developed by a professional massage therapist who uses these oils extensively in his practice.
